Wanting to make an impact with his skills, Luuk joined Metabolic as a developer for the software team. He is passionate about topics regarding the livestock industry, overconsumption, inequality, climate change, and a sustainable diet.

While earning his bachelor’s in art and technology, he became interested in the interactive aspect of design. After experiencing the endless possibilities of code for visual purposes, he ultimately became a full-fledged front-end developer.

In his free time, Luuk likes to create web-based visualizations with his girlfriend, who is an illustrator. He also enjoys listening to music (mostly of the abstract electronic kind), reading, hiking, and obsessing about owning as little as possible.
