Matthew brings a blend of financial acumen and environmental science to the table. He translates complex and abstract scientific concepts into actionable strategies, helping clients navigate the intricacies of green finance and circular economy models.
At Metabolic, Matthew leverages his regulatory and fintech experience as a co-founder of Raise Green, an equity crowdfunding platform for impact investing in community-scale climate solutions, along with his work with Estée Lauder in impact metric formulation and with Yale University as a lecturer on Financing Decarbonization and Accelerator Program Designer for the Global Green Chemistry Innovation and Network Programme. These roles have equipped him with a deep understanding of deal structuring and securities issuance, data science and statistical simulations, and impact metrics, skills he now applies to develop replicable corporate structures and financial instruments.
Matthew has a Bachelor of Science in environmental science with a chemistry minor from Western Washington University, and a master’s degree in environmental management from Yale University.
