Chris joined Metabolic soon after its inception in 2012 and currently serves as the organization’s Innovation & Ventures Director.

Chris grew up near New York City with a passion for invention and education. He has an academic background in international politics and environmental policy. Through various experiences working with startups and social businesses, Chris came to believe in entrepreneurial approaches that emphasized visions and strategies that matched the scale of our current challenges. Turning away from clever politics and Silicon Valley ideals, Chris became increasingly compelled by integrated approaches to systems change that combined good science and analysis with a human and practical approach to emerging technology.
