Christie joined Metabolic in September 2012 as an intern and has since played a key role in the development of Metabolic Foundation. Christie is working on community-led sustainable development in low-income urban areas.

Christie is from Aruba, a small island in the Caribbean. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Science from Utrecht University and has focused on sustainable development in the context of poverty relief. She has worked on a variety of related projects in Thailand, Aruba and Jamaica.
