Lekha is interested in exploring the interactions between nature, society, and technology. She has an interdisciplinary background, holding a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from India, and a master’s degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis from TU Delft. 

Having grown up in India, she possesses a first-hand understanding of the inequalities that exist between food producers and consumers. This inspired her to adopt a holistic perspective of the global food industry using systems thinking. At Metabolic, she focuses on implementing science-based solutions using data analysis and modeling to achieve a sustainable food system.

In her free time, Lekha can be found hiking, reading a thriller, or hunting for bubble tea.
